Suzie Le Brocq
ICAADC, Master Practitioner in Counselling Psychology
 |
As a private therapist Suzie Le Brocq has had a lifelong passion for working with people. Suzie Le Brocq thrives on what is learnt from every treatment experience that she engages in, and she maintains a level of humor, honesty and fairness in her work. Her career in the field of addiction and eating disorders has taken her to Europe, North America and the South Pacific, and as such, she has an extensive understanding from a number of different treatment modalities and methodologies.
Recognizing the importance of treating addiction as a family disease; Suzie le Brocq works predominately with a cognitive-behavioural model of therapy focusing on the relationship between a person’s thinking, emotions and behaviours. Treating the family as a whole is key to the treatment she provides; this is also reflected in the systemic family interventions that Le Brocq Counselling & Life Services undertakes.
Suzie Le Brocq is an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counsellor through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium. She is also a Master Practitioner in Counselling Psychology through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. She has 12 years of global experience primarily with individuals and families dealing with addiction and eating disorders.
Le Brocq Counselling & Life Services offers treatment in the areas of co-dependency treatment, individual/couples and family counselling, group therapy and inpatient aftercare, drug monitoring, consultation and E.A.P work. Detailed alcohol and drug assessments are also available when required.
