Four
herbal formulas are associated with the D-Tox Diet:
1. Lower Bowel Tonic
2. Cleansing Formula
3. Liver Formula
4. Cleansing Tincture
Suggested Dosage Two
tablets (or 20 drops) of each product with both breakfast and supper.
The diet associated with the
program is of great importance. During this period, you can eat all you
want but the selection of food is quite important. The diet should consist
of at least 80% alkaline and neutral ash foods with less than 20% acid
ash foods. Referring to the chart on the next page, one should eat less
than 20% of the diet from foods in Column 1, with 80% or more of your
foods from Columns 2 and 3 combined.
If the food is not listed on
this chart, you cannot eat it!
It is strongly recommended
that no alcohol be consumed during this program. Although it is best not
to drink coffee during this period of time, if it is part of your normal
diet, you can drink a maximum of two cups of black coffee per day. Herbals
teas are quite acceptable. The addition of spice to the diet is quite
alright, but the use of store-bought condiments such as ketchup should
be avoided.
Note: There are no
breads or other flour products (e.g. breads, cakes, cookies, pastas or
the like), dairy products (except butter), or tropical fruit during this
program.
One should try to eliminate
all foods that might congest your system during a detox. Your diet does
not have to be mundane. Remember that over 95% of the world's population
eats foods such as these on a daily basis. As a species humans have had
these types of foods for over 99% of our history, and even today, most
people in the world would consider this diet feasting. Experimenting with
foods from other cultures can make the diet delicious and even gourmet.
